In 2006, the fashion platform Labels Berlin 1 set up shop in a warehouse
in the historic harbor surroundings of the Berlin Osthafen.

Tailored to the high requirements of the fashion industry, the historic,
listed building from 1913 by the Berlin architect and council member
Friedrich Krause was carefully renovated. On 8,000 square meters,
a mix of high-tech with consciously preserved traces of the original
building and the innovative, high-quality, detailed design have made
Labels Berlin 1 an architectural rarity.
The building’s eight showrooms were immediately leased by Hugo Boss,
Escada, Orwell, Esprit, Brax, Carlo Colucci, Marc Cain and Tom Tailor.
